20.泌尿器系合併症

はじめに

古典的な先天性角化不全症（DC）患者では、いくつかの泌尿器系の合併症が報告されているが、その発生率や他の関連するテロメア生物学的障害（TBDs）にどの程度影響するかについてのデータは少ない。英国を拠点とするDC登録サイトの報告では、DCの男性の5％が尿道狭窄および/または包茎を有していることが判明しました[1]。国立がん研究所（アメリカ）で最近行われた男性DC患者の分析では、10.5%が尿道狭窄の既往があった[2]。DC患者の腎臓の異常に関する症例報告がいくつかあるが、NCI（アメリカ国立がん研究所）に登録されたDC症例の中では、DCに関連する明確な腎臓病は認められなかった[2, 3, 4]。DC患者における泌尿器系合併症の管理は、患者の症状に基づいた詳細な臨床評価から始め、必要に応じて専門医に相談する必要があります。
